Since its launch, the Mercedes-Benz AMG GT has undergone several major evolutions. The second generation, unveiled in August 2023, introduced significant improvements, including a platform shared with the SL roadster, allowing for a 2+2 cabin configuration. This generation offers 4.0-liter V8 engines producing 469 hp for the GT 55 and 577 hp for the GT 63, both equipped with all-wheel drive. In 2024, hybrid versions were added, including a plug-in hybrid version of the V8 for the GT 63 S E Performance and a 2.0-liter mild-hybrid version for the GT 43. The GT 63 and GT 63 S models are equipped with a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, producing 577 hp and 630 hp, respectively.
