McLaren MP4-12C 2011
The 2011 McLaren MP4-12C Base was the first production model developed and built by McLaren since the F1. Conceived as a mid-engined supercar, it combined a carbon-fibre Monocell structure, a 3.8-litre twin-turbocharged V8 and a dual-clutch transmission. Its engineering focused on aerodynamic efficiency, visibility and a broad operating range rather than deliberately extravagant styling. Production
