History
The Huracán was created as the successor to the Gallardo, which had long served as Lamborghini’s entry-level V10 model. Its 2014 launch established the family’s core formula: a naturally aspirated V10, electronically controlled all-wheel drive, a dual-clutch gearbox, digital instrumentation, and ANIMA driving modes. That first phase defined the model line by combining performance, onboard technology, and a still fairly broad road-going usability.
The range then expanded with the rear-wheel-drive LP580-2, followed by the 2017 Performante, which pushed further toward lightweight construction and aerodynamic efficiency through ALA. The 2019 EVO marks another step, less dramatic in concept than the Performante but significant in overall calibration. It updates the Huracán with revised bodywork, rear steering, and the LDVI system, designed to anticipate and coordinate chassis behavior more precisely. In that timeline, the LP640-4 EVO is the all-wheel-drive expression of this technical evolution.
