Within the LFA lineup, the Base version is the reference specification. It represents the standard supercar configuration and serves as the comparison point for the Nürburgring Package, which is aimed more directly at circuit use. The dossier describes it with a 4.8-liter V10 producing 560 horsepower, already making it an exceptionally capable road car. Unlike the other main variant, it does not receive the track-focused hardware such as the fixed rear wing, magnesium wheels, or recalibrated gearbox. As a result, it remains the purest and most balanced interpretation of the LFA concept.

It is aimed primarily at road driving while still preserving the model’s extreme character. The Nürburgring Package shares the same basic layout but adds output increased to 571 horsepower, a recalibrated gearbox for quicker shifts, a fixed rear wing, and magnesium wheels. In that hierarchy, the Base version remains the essential configuration, defining the model’s character before the track-focused enhancements of the more specialized variant.
