History
The 2026 model year marks the first production run of the CCGT1, presented by Koenigsegg as a tribute to the CCGT, its early-2000s GT1 racing car left stranded by a regulation change. Unlike the original, which was strictly track-bound, this version is homologated for road use across markets. Koenigsegg also offers a factory-fitted track package, which it describes as producing its fastest circuit performer to date. The company has additionally restored the original CCGT through its Legends Division to campaign it in historic racing.
