Evolution

Within the MC20 family, the 2020 Coupé is the founding version. It predates the Spyder introduced in 2022 and establishes the model’s core formula. According to the dossier, both body styles share the same platform and the same engine, so the evolution between them mainly concerns roof design and driving experience rather than mechanical changes. The Coupé therefore stands out as the fixed-roof, rigid-body interpretation, suited to conventional closed-top driving. Its place in the range reflects the opening of the MC20 line rather than a major technical shift. It remains the launch version, the one that first presented the MC20’s design and identity to the public in 2020.

Variants

The first-generation MC20 is offered in two main variants: the Coupé, launched in 2020, and the Spyder, introduced in 2022. For the Coupé, the defining difference is its fixed roof and rigid body structure. That sets it apart from the Spyder’s retractable hardtop and open-air driving character. According to the dossier, performance remains the same across both body styles, since they share the same platform and the same 3.0-litre Nettuno V6 engine producing 630 horsepower.
