Compared with the standard Chiron, the Pur Sport changes the car’s character more deeply. The dossier emphasizes greater aerodynamic downforce, shorter gear ratios, and chassis settings unique to this version. The goal is no longer only to deliver extraordinary performance, but to make the car quicker and more effective on twisting roads. The announced weight reduction is part of that program, as is the fixed rear wing, which clearly separates it visually and technically from the more versatile derivatives. The Pur Sport therefore represents an evolution within the same family, without altering the Chiron’s shared mechanical foundations.

Within the Chiron family, the Pur Sport sits between the 2016 base car and the more extreme derivatives. The original Chiron prioritizes overall balance, while the 2018 Sport keeps the stated power but sharpens the chassis. The Pur Sport goes further in a dynamic direction: it uses specific tires, shorter transmission ratios, increased aerodynamic downforce, and a large fixed rear wing. At the other end of the range, the 2021 Super Sport targets maximum speed with its stretched body and 1,600 hp engine. The later Profilée borrows some Pur Sport ideas, but as a one-off with a more elegant presentation.
