Brand history

Fisker Automotive was founded in 2007 by Henrik Fisker and Bernhard Koehler. The first model, the Fisker Karma, was unveiled at the 2008 Detroit Auto Show and delivered to customers in 2011. However, due to financial issues and the bankruptcy of its battery supplier, A123 Systems, production was suspended in 2012. In 2014, Fisker Automotive's assets were acquired by the Chinese group Wanxiang, which renamed the company Karma Automotive. Henrik Fisker retained the rights to the brand and founded Fisker Inc. in 2016. (en.wikipedia.org)

Positioning

Fisker positioned itself as a luxury electric vehicle brand, combining innovative design with eco-friendly technologies. The Fisker Karma, for example, was one of the world's first luxury plug-in hybrid vehicles, blending performance with environmental consciousness. (en.wikipedia.org)

Photo recognition

To recognize a Fisker, look for distinctive design elements such as flowing lines, a unique front grille, and elegantly designed wheels. The Fisker logo, featuring a circular badge with an orange and blue center surrounded by a white border, is also a key indicator. (roarington.com)
