Ferrari CZ26: key facts
The Ferrari CZ26 is a one-off Special Projects creation unveiled during Monterey Car Week for an American client. It uses the SF90 Stradale as its technical basis while receiving a completely bespoke exterior and interior.
Ferrari retains the SF90's plug-in hybrid powertrain: a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 combined with three electric motors. Total output is 1,000 cv, or 986 hp, delivered to all four wheels through an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission.
How can you recognize the Ferrari CZ26?
The front end is the clearest clue. Squarer volumes replace the SF90's shapes, while the headlamps are concealed and the daytime-running light becomes an exceptionally thin horizontal line. The graphic bumper treatment gives the CZ26 a more futuristic identity than its donor car.
Its liquid-effect silver paint is paired with tinted carbon fibre, red accents and exhaust outlets left in natural titanium. Taut, precise surfaces continue along the sides and rear.
An SF90 Stradale beneath the bespoke body
Ferrari does not describe the CZ26 as a new series-production model. Its drivetrain comes from the SF90 Stradale: the twin-turbo V8 drives the rear wheels, two electric motors power the front axle and a third electric motor sits between the combustion engine and gearbox.
This layout provides all-wheel drive and a combined 1,000 cv. Those figures belong to the donor platform; Ferrari has not announced a CZ26-specific power increase.
A cabin without traditional leather
The interior continues the experiment. Black technical fabric replaces traditional leather, while the seats feature 3D-printed inserts. Its materials echo the exterior combination of silver surfaces, carbon fibre and red highlights.
Why will the CZ26 remain unique?
The CZ26 belongs to Ferrari's Special Projects programme, which develops one-off cars for selected clients by invitation and in close collaboration with the Ferrari Styling Centre. It is not planned for series production, and Ferrari has not disclosed its price.
