Eccentrica V12 Roadster: key facts

The Eccentrica V12 Roadster is an open-air reinterpretation of the first-series Lamborghini Diablo. Developed in San Marino under former Lamborghini Chief Technical Officer Maurizio Reggiani, it retains a naturally aspirated V12 and manual gearbox while comprehensively rebuilding the donor car.

Its 5.7-litre V12 produces 550 hp and 600 Nm. Eccentrica claims 0-100 km/h in 3.8 seconds, a 335 km/h top speed and production limited to only 19 cars.

How can you recognize the Eccentrica V12 Roadster?

The silhouette retains the Diablo Roadster's fundamental proportions, but its bodywork is completely reconstructed in carbon fibre. A wider track, redesigned front and rear volumes and tighter surfaces give the car a more modern stance.

Removing the roof required a dedicated aerodynamic study to manage airflow around the open cabin. Eccentrica therefore recalibrated the structure, proportions and aerodynamics rather than simply cutting the roof from the coupé.

More than 3,500 bespoke components

Every Eccentrica V12 uses more than 3,500 specially developed components. The Diablo base is dismantled and reconstructed around a steel space frame reinforced with carbon fibre.

The complete body is made from carbon. Despite the structural reinforcement required for a roadster, claimed kerb weight is 1,540 kg, with 41:59 front-to-rear weight distribution.

A 550 hp naturally aspirated V12

The 5.7-litre, 60-degree V12 remains naturally aspirated. ECU recalibration, improved thermal management and optimised airflow raise output to 550 hp at 7,000 rpm and 600 Nm at 6,500 rpm.

A close-ratio six-speed gated manual gearbox includes reverse. Three distinct driving modes allow the car's behaviour to be adjusted for different roads and conditions.

A modernised chassis that preserves feedback

Front and rear double-wishbone suspension uses redesigned geometry and bespoke semi-active dampers. Steering remains hydraulically assisted to preserve feedback through the wheel.

Brembo braking uses 380 mm front and 345 mm rear discs. Eccentrica claims a 34-metre 100-0 km/h stopping distance. Pirelli Trofeo R tyres measure 255/30 R19 at the front and 325/30 R19 at the rear.

A cabin created with each owner

The interior combines Connolly leather, Alcantara, anodised materials and exposed carbon fibre. Every car is individually specified with its owner through a bespoke tailoring process.

The Eccentrica V12 Roadster was announced on 10 August 2026 and publicly unveiled at The Quail on 14 August during Monterey Car Week. The manufacturer did not disclose official pricing in its launch release.
