Aston Martin Valen: key facts
The Aston Martin Valen is a front-engined V12 supercar created by Q by Aston Martin. Revealed in Monterey on 14 August 2026, it produces 850 PS and 1,000 Nm from an uprated version of the company's 5.2-litre twin-turbo V12.
Aston Martin claims 0-60 mph in 3.0 seconds and an electronically limited 214 mph top speed. Only 150 cars will be produced worldwide.
How can you recognize the Aston Martin Valen?
The Valen uses full carbon-fibre bodywork, including the inner bonnet and door surrounds. Its bespoke headlamps remain almost hidden when switched off, while a new full-width light bar defines the rear.
A vast diffuser and four 3D-printed titanium exhaust outlets arranged on two levels dominate the tail. Along the sides, long sharp creases merge into functional vents that extract air from the wheel arches.
An 850 PS twin-turbo V12
The 5.2-litre V12 produces 850 PS and 1,000 Nm from 2,500 rpm. It is paired with a recalibrated eight-speed ZF automatic using shift strategies developed for the Vantage GT4. Drive goes to the rear wheels through an electronic differential.
Sport, Sport+ and Track modes alter throttle mapping, gearshifts, torque intervention and ESP behaviour. The titanium exhaust was developed specifically for the Valen and saves 14.8 kg on its own.
Up to 110 kg lighter
Aston Martin claims a reduction of up to 110 kg over its core V12 platform, depending on options. The carbon body saves 25 kg. An optional lightweight pack adds machined aluminium suspension arms and knuckles plus titanium chassis bolts, saving a further 16.9 kg.
Its 21-inch forged magnesium wheels use bespoke Pirelli P Zero R tyres with Cyber Tyre technology, which sends real-time tyre information to the car's dynamic control systems.
A Valen-specific chassis calibration
Suspension combines front double wishbones, a rear multi-link layout and Bilstein DTX semi-active dampers. A solid-mounted rear subframe is used to improve response.
Carbon-ceramic braking uses 410 mm discs with six-piston calipers at the front and 360 mm discs with four-piston calipers at the rear. The electric power steering also receives Valen-specific calibration.
A Q by Aston Martin limited series
The Valen joins the line of limited-production V12 specials created by Q by Aston Martin. Its name derives from the Latin word “valens”, referring to strength and power while continuing Aston Martin's tradition of V names.
The two-seat cabin adopts a more minimalist architecture, new Sport Plus seats and two 10.25-inch displays. Homologated weight, pricing and a 0-100 km/h figure had not been officially disclosed at publication time.
